a beautiful evening...

so we haven't posted in a while, and i'm sorry...time has just kinda run away from us! and i have to apologize to those who i got mad at for not updating their blogs more frequently...these things are a commitment! but i finally got the camera back out tonight, and i'm so glad that i did...it was a beautiful evening, before the heat and humidity kick in, so we spent some of it outside, with nora before she went to bed...she is getting so big i can hardly believe it...she's gonna be a year old in 20 short days, and i just wonder where the time went...everyday she gets a little cuter and more of her personality comes out...she cracks us up on a daily basis, and we know she is going to be a handful...she says "hi" in this quiet, sultry kinda voice that is hysterical, and loves to say "bye-bye" and wave (like even to Callie and Teagan every time they come in and out of the room)...she cruises along the furniture, but not exactly walking just yet...which is fine by me... she's fast enough as it is! the newest fun thing is that she moos...of course she thinks that's the noise every animal makes, but its all good...we're working on our baa's too..everything all in good time...
here are some pics from tonight...

mike and nora's piggy faces...like father like daughter...

just a little more of her attitude coming out...

nora likes to steal the dogs toys...they are quite patient with her...but if you'll notice in the picture, each one of them is sticking out their tounge...i know one day soon she'll be asking for her dinner in a bowl on the floor too...

please excuse my grossness, as i had just gotten back from a run...but we realized tonight there are hardly any pics of nora and i...

nora discovered tonight that she loves to look at the world upside down...she was then balancing on her neck and trying to grab me...can't you just eat those thighs up??? i absolutely adore her chubby thighs...and now that its warmer, and they're exposed, i think its the cutest thing ever...and yes, she has tan lines in all those crevices... :)

peeking through the wheel on the jogging stroller...those eyes just kill me...

Thanks for the udpated post. Love all the new pics and I look forward to meeting Nora in Laporte next month (I hope). The blog is a commitment and I wasn't sure that I could keep up between you and Meg! Hope all is well with you guys.

P.S. You are right to enjoy the pre-walking phase because once they walk there is no going back!
